GO. SERVE. BE CHANGED.

At 504 Ministries, we believe that as followers of Christ we are called to serve those who are often overlooked and underserved. Jesus didn’t just preach the Gospel, He demonstrated it through compassion, service, and sacrifice. For us, the Gospel is not only something we speak, it is something we live.

Can't go on a mission trip? You can still make an impact. Your gift helps support outreach efforts, strengthen communities, and share the hope of Jesus around the world.

Why join a mission team?

If you have ever felt called to do more than simply talk about your faith, we invite you to join us. Come serve. Come grow. Come experience how God works when His people step out in faith and serve others. Mission trips with 504 Ministries are about more than travel—they are about living out the Gospel through service. We bring teams together to serve communities that are often overlooked and underserved. Through construction projects, practical help, and relationship-building, teams share the love of Christ in tangible ways. Every project is an opportunity to serve others while growing in your own faith.

Serve People in Real Time

Many communities we work with face challenges that most of us rarely see. By serving with 504 Ministries, you help meet real needs while showing the love of Christ.

Share the Gospel through Action

Sometimes the most powerful testimony is not a sermon, it’s service. When you give your time and effort to help others, people see the Gospel lived out.

Grow Spiritually

Mission trips often change the hearts of those who serve. Many volunteers return home with a deeper faith, a new perspective, and a stronger commitment to serving others.

Jim Humphreys | Missions Coordinator

Jim Humphreys joined 504 Ministries in February 2026, bringing with him more than three decades of professional experience, including 12 years serving in the U.S. Senate and over 20 years in medical sales. Throughout his career, Jim has been driven by a passion for serving others and building meaningful relationships.

His heart for missions was ignited during his first trip to Honduras four years ago. Through that experience, he developed a deep love for the people and sensed God's calling to be part of the work taking place through 504 Ministries. Today, Jim is committed to helping meet both the physical and spiritual needs of communities while sharing the hope and love of Jesus Christ with those they serve.

Jim and his wife, Denise, reside in Jackson, Tennessee. When he is not serving in ministry, he enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and experiencing the beauty of God's creation. His passion for faith, service, and people continues to fuel his dedication to advancing the mission of 504 Ministries.

Rafael | Farm Manager

Rafael Alvarado joined 504 Ministries in December 2024, bringing with him more than two decades of ministry experience and a deep passion for serving others. His ministry journey began in 2001 in Nicaragua, where he discovered a calling to share the love of Christ through both words and actions.

Rafael’s heart for community outreach was shaped while serving alongside a medical ministry team in the mountains of Nicaragua. Through that experience, he developed a love for meeting people where they are, building meaningful relationships, and helping address both physical and spiritual needs. He is passionate about connecting with individuals and sharing God’s message of love, hope, and salvation in practical and impactful ways.

Rafael and his wife, Lesbia, live in Comayagua, Honduras, where they faithfully serve together in ministry.
